Scholarships

OSU University Scholars Program

The University Scholars Program (USP) serves all recipients of OSU scholarships. USP provides leadership and service opportunities to enhance students’ campus experiences through networking. As part of the USP, scholars are provided direction to be competitive for elite scholarship programs such as the Fulbright, Marshall and Truman Scholarships upon graduation from Oregon State.

MECOP Rand Sherwood Scholarship

Rand Sherwood worked ad PGE and was a hearty supporter of the MECOP program. He served on the MECOP board from October 2007 until his passing in May 2012.

This scholarship is intended to promote and continue the legacy of Mr. Sherwood by encouraging the relationship between industry and universities.

Eligibility Requirements

Selection And Award

Two students a year will be selected to receive the scholarship each year. The award will be $1000.

How Can Students Apply?

  1. Go to the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC) Scholarship Fund Website.
  2. Click on "OSAC Scholarship Application"
  3. Login to your account
  4. Fill out the OSAC application form. If you qualify for the MECOP Rand Sherwood Scholarship OSAC will notify you.

How Can Companies Contribute?

  1. Go to the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC) Scholarship Fund Website.
  2. Select "Donate Now"
  3. Select "MECOP Rand Sherwood" from the drop-down menu.
