Interns work in the Department of Environmental Services in the Water Resources Division. The Department of Environmental Services provides safe water, essential wastewater systems, watershed management, natural resource restoration, regulates waste disposal and manages street maintenance. The Water Resources Division consist of the underground utilities: Stormwater, Wastewater, and Water. Highlights of Gresham's Water Division include a net zero wastewater treatment plant, a current effort to develop a groundwater system, and use of developing technologies to improve our customer service.
