Established in 1956 Moore Excavation has been a heavy civil contractor in the greater Portland area for 65 years. We currently employee over 180 people including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators , Superintendents , Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators & Laborers. We have an organizational-wide culture of innovation & safety while delivering successful & on schedule projects to our clients year after year.

We have a long resume of utility pipe installation projects (water, sewer, storm water) for a number of municipalities and commercial site development projects for large general contractors. Clients include The City of Portland, ODOT, Washington County, Skanska & Todd Construction.
