Tualatin Valley Water District
The Tualatin Valley Water District (District) is the second largest water provider in Oregon, providing an average of nearly 21 million gallons of water per day to approximately 211,000 customers. District facilities include over 750 miles of pipelines, 12 booster pump stations, 39 pressure zones, and 22 active reservoirs. The engineering division of the District hires CECOP interns to help on a variety of tasks to help improve and maintain the District's water system. Types of projects can include project planning, pipeline replacement design assistance, booster pump station analysis and design, engineering support for operations, project inspections, and miscellaneous other tasks.
