As a leading North American producer of engineered steel products for rail, energy and industrial end markets, we deliver a broad selection of specialty steel solutions to meet our customers’ demands in the United States and Canada.

Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, EVRAZ North America employs more than 1,400 people in the United States and 1,800 in Canada, at six production sites located in the United States (Portland, Oregon; Pueblo, Colorado) and Canada (Regina, Saskatchewan; Calgary, Camrose and Red Deer, Alberta). We are the largest North American producer by volume in the rail and large diameter pipe markets. We also hold leading positions in the West Coast plate as well as the Western Canada oil country tubular goods and small diameter pipe markets.

Our Portland facility has the only plate mill in the Western U.S. and adjacent Canadian provinces. We also operate quench and tempering lines. Our proximity to deep water ports and rail allows us to cost effectively source domestic or foreign steel slabs:

  • Portland Rolling Mill has the unique ability to produce quality discrete plate and coil in custom and standard sizes and specifications. Finished products include hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel plate, hot-rolled coil, heat- treated plate, shot-blasted and primed plate, temper-passed cut-to-length plate and plate coil.
  • Portland Spiral Mill converts steel coils from the adjacent Rolling Mill into high strength, large diameter API-grade pipe for oil and gas transmission lines and structural applications.
  • Our Product Technology Center in Portland enhances our ability to develop high strength steel products for the most demanding applications.
